Established in 1984 under the Interdisciplinary Minor Program at the University of Central Florida, the Judaic Studies minor created a series entitled "Distinguished Lecturers". In the early 1990's, the Judaic Studies minor separated from the Interdisciplinary Minor Program to become its own Judaic Studies Program at UCF.
